      The agent hits a wall

      Merge or hold. Approach A or B. Approve the secret. Your harness posts the question and its options.

    2. 02

      The exchange rings you

      Phone first when you have a number on file, browser line otherwise. The operator reads the question, then the keys.

    3. 03

      You press one

      Keypad or voice. The answer lands at your callback and the poll endpoint in under a second. The agent keeps going.

    The whole API is one POST.

    Questions stay short because they get read aloud. Options map to keys 1 through 9. You get a poll URL, a long poll URL that holds for fifty seconds, and a browser answer link you can paste anywhere you look at night.

    Callbacks retry three times and report their outcome on the poll. Nothing stored but the question, the answer, and when.
